Hello all,
Wow, where to start? I guess the first thing that we can say is praise God, what an amazing father we have! What an amazing journey this is indeed. So, for you who have been waiting, here is what has been going on the past couple of weeks!
On Monday Sept 7th, we started Elijah House. During our Lunch break, I got a call from my mom telling me that my youngest sister, Caroline(11 years old), had fallen from about fifteen feet, and landed on her shoulder and head. They were at the hospital and things were not looking good. The news that I got was that she was unresponsive, and if she became responsive they would transfer her to Cooks Children's in Ft. Worth. We quickly packed our things and rushed home fearing the worst.
About four hours later, I talked to my mom, who informed me that Caroline had been transferred and was still unconscious. They did not know the full extent of her injuries, but so far she was looking good as far as vitals go. As we got closer, a friend called and let me know that when they told her that me and Meghan were on our way her heart rate spiked!!!! We kept driving praising Jesus knowing that He was going to continue to heal her! We arrived at the hospital at about midnight, and thanks to another awesome friend we were able to get back into the ICU and see her sweet little face! We both sat next to her for quite awhile, talking and praying for her. After about an hour she sat up and looked at both of us. Meghan asked her, "do you know who we are?", and Praise Jesus she replied " Chris, Meghan, I missed you guys..."!!!!!! WOOOOO HOOOO!!!
We left the ICU about 2:30 and went and prayed with our awesome friends, Sam and Danielle, and Keri and Jeremiah. It was just an amazing time of prayer and giving thanks for how God had protected her and how he was continuing to heal her! At the end of our time, both Sam and Jeremiah shared words that God had told them. Both of them had to do with hearing God and obeying. We walked out of the hospital around 3, and took the long way back to our car. On the way God spoke to me and told me that I was free, from my fears and things that have held me back in the past. He said to walk in that freedom. I told Meghan what had just happened and we praised God for the other forms of healing that were happening.
When we got to the car, we hugged, and I started to shake. Ive never had anything like this happen to me before, but my whole body was trembling. Meghan asked " are you ok?" "I don't know what this is" I said. I asked God what was going on, and He gave me a picture of Pentecost when His spirit fell onto men. He said " my spirit is upon you." Still shaking, I asked " Why is this happening, what is it you want me to do?" He replied "I want you to get on your knee and ask this woman to marry you" My response sounded like,"um, say what?? I don't have a ring, I don't have a speech planned out, and this is a parking garage at 3 in the morning, this cant be right." But God replied, " A while back you asked me to give you a clear sign when it was the right time, and now your shaking in a parking garage, would you like me to keep going?" I decided that I was kind of afraid about how much clearer God would make this, so I got down on my knee and asked her if she would marry me. She said, "Of course, you silly goose, YES!" WOOOO HOOOOOO, praise Jesus for this amazing awesome day. As wisely spoken by Abel Little, "I love Jesus, but sometimes, He is a little crazy", haha!
We finished out the week with our family helping take care of Caroline in shifts and also part time taxi drivers. We watched as she improved every day and by the time we left she was completely back to normal. We Got back on Sunday, and have been working hard at finishing Elijah House, but that is a different post. We are so sorry it took us this long to put this up, but we have just been very busy. We love you all and cant wait to share more with you guys.
Blessings,
Chris
PS.I got a ring!!!

8 sometimes is equal to 12....
Hey Guys!!!
We made it to Kansas City! So the plan was to leave at 8:30.... so we left around 11, I'm sure that's no surprise for you guys, hahaha. We made it all the way to OK before we stopped and fearing that there might not be a Taco Bueno in KC, we stopped and had lunch. We drove on and about 4:30 it was time for a little roadside nap. Around 7:30 we started to wonder if we would ever make it! But thanks to God, and a little bit of Red Bull(or in my case alot!) we made it into town by 11. Its an 8 hour drive, but it took us 12 hours, thank you Jesus for getting us there safe and sound! I got to meet the Littles, which is the family that I am staying with in KC, and they are just awesome. Abel is a pastor from the Ivory Coast, and is an Amazing man who is just on fire for God, and Maria is a nurse at the local hospital. They are both getting ready to use their gifts for God in and around the Ivory Coast very soon!
So we started the week off with an assignment to share our testimonies! It was awesome to learn more about the others in our class, and to hear how God had brought them to CPx! There are a total of 10 people in our group, and out of that, there are only 4 Americans! Its very diverse, and I cant wait to get to know them better. We also talked about what it means to be called and ways to biblically search for our calling, and how that comes together with the great commission. We also took a look at the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. I Scored a E-N-F-P, if you don't understand what that means, you should research the test, its a very useful tool in understanding how you work! Meghan copied my answers and scored the same... very interesting.
The weather has just been wonderful, all of you from Texas would love it, its been about 74 degrees every day and dropping to about 59 every night, O so refreshing!!
We are excited for next week to start, and soo happy to be here learning more about God and His wonderful plan for our lives! Thank you soo much for keeping us in your prayers. Please be Praying for us next week as we enter a two week intensive inner-healing course known as Elijah House. We love all of you guys very much and we miss all of you, and feel free to shoot us a message, we would love to hear from you! Also special shout out to Dana and Susan, we miss you both soo much and Love Love Love ya!
